AI infrastructure startup Mueon announced a $65 million Series A on October 15. The company said Maverick Silicon led the round and named Intel Capital, Geodesic Alliances Fund, Oregon Venture Fund, M-Ventures, Wellington Capital, IQT and Defined among the participants.

Mueon says it has raised more than $80 million in disclosed funding to date. It did not disclose a company valuation, so the round should not be read as evidence of any particular valuation or revenue level.

The financing is intended to move Cubelets, Mueon’s proposed modular compute-and-memory architecture, through engineering and system validation toward production readiness. That places the announcement in the competition to build alternatives to conventional accelerator-and-memory configurations for AI workloads.

Mueon has advertised efficiency gains of up to 10 times, but those are company claims, not independently verified production results. The announcement describes work still focused on validation; no shipment volume, production deployment, customer revenue or independent benchmark was disclosed.
