SAP announced on October 6 that it has signed an agreement to acquire TechWolf, a Belgian company that builds AI-based workforce and skills intelligence. SAP says the technology will strengthen the skills data layer in SAP SuccessFactors and help enterprises map work, roles and capabilities as AI changes job design.

Skills evidence moves into the HR stack

TechWolf extracts and normalizes skills signals from enterprise systems to create a continuously updated view of workforce capabilities. Both companies say the planned combination will connect that evidence with SuccessFactors planning, talent and learning workflows.

The companies did not disclose the purchase price. They expect the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. Until closing, TechWolf remains an independent company.
