Snorkel AI announced a $350 million funding round at a $3.5 billion valuation on September 22, describing the financing as support for an agentic data factory supplying datasets and environments to frontier AI developers.
The company is moving beyond basic labeling
The company says the round was co-led by Insight Partners and S32, with participation from new and existing investors. Its release frames today's data work as expert-built tasks, environments and rubrics for training and evaluating agentic systems.
Funding expands a data-as-a-service model
Snorkel says its Data-as-a-Service offering launched in September 2025 and serves AI labs and enterprises. Reuters separately reports that annualized revenue has grown sharply, but those financial figures and customer claims remain company-reported.
