Vertiv said on October 16 that it had delivered a high-density liquid-cooling deployment at CapitaLand India Trust’s CLDC Mumbai01 data center in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. The company describes the work as India’s first deployment of this kind.
The announcement says the installation supports 30 megawatts of AI-ready capacity for an unnamed hyperscale end customer. Vertiv says the direct-to-chip system was tested and commissioned; the release does not identify the customer or disclose utilization.
The deployment reflects a practical constraint in scaling AI computing: higher-density servers require cooling systems designed to remove heat close to the processors. A 30 MW capacity figure describes supported infrastructure, not necessarily live AI load, delivered computing output or electricity saved.
Neither the customer nor a baseline energy-use comparison was published. The release therefore establishes a named site, cooling approach and stated capacity, but not independent proof of operational efficiency or environmental benefit.
