Wipro announced on September 9 that it has launched a Chief Information Security Officer Command Center in collaboration with CrowdStrike. The offering is intended to help enterprises organize security around business risk as AI-assisted exploitation shortens the time between vulnerability discovery and attack.
A shared operating layer for security
Wipro says the Command Center will be delivered through its CyberTransform and CyberShield services and supported by CrowdStrike's Falcon platform. The planned coverage includes endpoint security, cloud security, exposure management, AI security, and unified detection and response through a modern security-operations center.
The central design choice is organizational as much as technical: Wipro is presenting a shift from separate security tools toward a risk-led model that connects technical signals with business impact. Its accompanying framework emphasizes reducing the attack surface, prioritizing remediation, embedding security into architecture, and preparing for containment and recovery.
AI changes both attack and defense
The companies describe AI as accelerating threat discovery and exploitation while also enabling faster triage and response. The partnership also connects the offering to CrowdStrike's Project QuiltWorks, a coalition focused on identifying and remediating risks associated with frontier AI systems.
Financial Express independently reported the launch and the same combination of Wipro services, Falcon technology, and endpoint, cloud, exposure-management, and AI-security coverage. Its report is based in part on the companies' announcement and exchange filing, so it corroborates the launch but does not independently test the product.
Commercial and operational proof is still missing
Neither company has disclosed pricing, deployment requirements, general-availability timing, named Command Center customers, or measured improvements in detection or response. Claims about machine-speed resilience and business advantage therefore remain vendor expectations until customers and independent evaluations provide outcome data.
