Anthropic has launched Claude for Financial Advisors, a package of connectors and workflow skills designed for research, meeting preparation, documentation and other advisory work. The release connects Claude with widely used custody, portfolio, planning and CRM systems rather than introducing a new foundation model.

Connectors bring advisory data into Claude workflows

Anthropic lists integrations or connections involving Addepar, BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, SS&C Black Diamond, Vanguard, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks. Charles Schwab separately says it is the first RIA custodian to provide an authenticated connection for advisors on its platform.

The product keeps humans in the approval loop

Anthropic says the financial-advisor workflows are intended to assist rather than replace professional judgment. Investment recommendations, client communications and compliance determinations still require human review, and Enterprise deployment is recommended for organizational controls.

Availability is clear; adoption and outcomes are not

The plugin is available now, and Reuters independently confirmed the launch and partner connections. Neither the announcement nor the partner release establishes broad advisor adoption, improved investment performance, lower compliance risk or measured productivity gains across firms.
